Terms of service

These terms govern your purchase and use of IfYouTakeRisk (“the platform”), sold at https://ifyoutakerisk.com and delivered at https://platform.ifyoutakerisk.com. By buying access or using the platform you agree to them.

1. What you get

A one-time payment of $99 USD buys a personal, non-transferable licence to use the platform — the daily system (goals, habits, tasks, day verdicts, calendar and insights), the lesson library, and the improvements we ship to it. Access has no expiry date. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the product: as long as we operate the platform.

2. Your account

Credentials are issued to one person. Don't share, sell or publish them. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think it's been compromised.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The price shown at checkout is the price charged, in US dollars. Any tax that applies where you live is your responsibility.

4. Refunds

Covered by our Refund Policy — 14 days, money back, no interrogation.

5. Your content

Your goals, habits, notes, measurements and progress photos remain yours. We store them to run the service for you and we don't sell them or use them to train anything. Progress photos are kept outside the public web root and are served only to the account that owns them. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.

6. Our content

Lessons, text, video, design and code are ours or licensed to us. You may use them for your own personal development. You may not copy, republish, resell or redistribute them, or use them to build a competing product.

7. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Don't use it for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to store.
• Don't automate account creation or resell access.

We may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach. Where it's fair to, we'll warn you first.

8. What we don't promise

The platform is a system for organising your own work. It is not coaching, therapy, medical, legal or financial advice, and it does not guarantee any particular result — your outcomes depend on what you do. We aim for the platform to be available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will never be interrupted or error-free.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the platform is limited to the amount you paid for it. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data.

10. Changes

We may update the platform and these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use after that means you accept them. We won't retroactively take away access you already paid for.

11. Ending it

You can stop using the platform whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may end access for a breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the product — in which case we'll give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
